About Women of Excellence Ministries, Inc.

Our Purpose
Women of Excellence Ministries, Inc. is a ministry called to nurture, encourage and support women in the body of Christ to move beyond their hurts, disappointments, situations, and become women equipped for
ministry in the areas God has called them to pursue.

We are also called to move beyond the walls of the church to touch the lives of women who do not know Christ by restoring, renewing and reclaiming them to their rightful place in Jesus Christ, and then
nurturing them in the things of God.

WOE is also very active in the community. We sponsor several annual drives for the local women’s homeless shelter. We support and assist many other women ministries and their work efforts within the Washington
Metropolitan area that share the same common goals of excellence in ministry as WOE.

Our Focus
WOE offers classes, workshops, seminars and private counseling. The “Just For You” Ministry has designed activities especially for your pleasure (i.e. Ladies’ Tea Parties, Ladies’ Night Out, Women of the Word
Bible Studies, and Book Clubs).

WOE is on a serious mission for the Lord, and desperately need your prayers and support. Our Vision is that we believe women need to come together in the name of Jesus Christ, where we empower each other through practical teaching of the Word of God that is essential to becoming the woman God created us to be. There are many issues of today that divide us. We are coming together to break down the illusion of failures, and low self-esteem by illuminating God's true glory within us. We strive to break down color barriers, denominational barriers, and ministry barriers that also divide us. The late Winston Churchill said, "To change is to improve, but to change often is to perfect". Our individual lives are to be transformed daily into the glorious image of God (2 Cor. 3:18), whereby we bring Him praise and honor (Ps. 115:1; Rev. 5:12)
